Pay: £13.21 per hour
Hours: 15 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 15:30 - 18:30
Requirement: Enhanced DBS with Child Workforce essential
About The Role
Kingdom Cleaning is looking for a reliable, professional, and experienced Working Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at Richmond School, part of the Arete Learning Trust.
This is a permanent, hands-on supervisory position where you will lead a small cleaning team while carrying out cleaning duties yourself, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety are maintained throughout the school.
Working within an educational environment, you will play a key role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming space for pupils, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising and supporting a small on-site cleaning team
- Scheduling team members and arranging cover for holidays and approved absences
- Ensuring all classrooms, corridors, offices, and communal areas are cleaned to a high standard
- Dusting, sanitising, and cleaning surfaces and touchpoints throughout the site
- Emptying waste bins and maintaining hygienic waste disposal areas
- Cleaning and maintaining washrooms and welfare facilities
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH, and safe working practices
- Maintaining accurate records and completing daily, weekly, and monthly reports
- Reordering cleaning consumables and monitoring stock levels
- Ensuring colour-coding procedures are followed by all team members
- Supporting the wider facilities and cleaning teams when required
- Promoting a safe, clean, and secure environment across the school

What We're Looking For
- Previous cleaning supervisory experience essential
- Enhanced DBS with Child Workforce essential
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Professional, friendly, and approachable manner
- High attention to detail and commitment to standards
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Good understanding of Health & Safety and COSHH requirements
- Adaptable and flexible approach to work
- Previous experience within a school or educational environment desirable
