Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The average housing costs in the North East are typically lower than the rest of the UK. There are plenty of options for people choosing to live here, with properties to suit all budgets and good access to major travel routes. Our area is the perfect option if you’re taking your first steps into the property ladder, or if you’re looking to find a unique property or renovation project at a fantastic price.

Places to visit

While living in the North East you have plenty of opportunities to explore all it has to offer. Whether it’s surfing on the coastline of the Tees Valley or a family day out at the Jorvik Viking Centre in York, you’ll never be short of things to do or places to visit.

Most major cities and towns in our region are less than an hour’s travel away from each other, so it’s easy to get around by car or public transport. A shopping trip in York is just 50 minutes from Scarborough or a one hour journey from Teesside. You’ll also be surprised by the close proximity of our towns and cities to peaceful countryside – Middlesbrough is a stone’s throw from the North York Moors National Park, with dozens of country walks and local villages to explore on your doorstep.
