Looking for a leadership role, or a first step into management with an expanding and professional Agricultural Dealership?
TH White Agriculture have expanded our New Holland dealership. We've launched a new regional depot (near Dorrington, just south of Shrewsbury).
To support this new chapter, we’re wanting to recruit a Supervisor/ Senior Service Technician to lead our brand-new team of Technicians.
This is an important position. You’ll be setting the standards and upholding our reputation – ensuring our customers have the trusted advice, expert service and dependable aftersales care that has defined our name for generations.
If you’re looking for more responsibility, the variety that a Supervisor role brings and a step into management then we’d like to speak with you. You will be the kind of Service Technician who enjoys being ‘hands on’, but also like helping your fellow engineers, liaising with customers and driving the depot’s operational performance each day.
You'll benefit from our backing, ongoing training and guidance, ensuring that your first step into leadership is nothing but a success.
Hours:
- 39 hours a week, Mon- Thurs 08:00-17:00
- Fri - 08:00-16:00.
Additional overtime (paid at time and a half) is available earlier and later should you wish to earn more.

- Management and delegation of daily jobs/workflow to the small team of Technicians.
- Supervising work in progress.
- Managing depot administration and paperwork, ensuring the accurate recording of jobs and invoicing of work.
- Customer communication and keeping customers updated with jobs.
- Proactive and positive people management skills with an ability to mentor the team on best practices & expectations.
- Hands-on workshop and field-based work servicing, maintaining, and repairing tractors, combines, forage harvesters, balers, and telehandlers.
- Conducting advanced fault diagnostics across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ensuring high standards of safety and workshop efficiency.
The Ideal Applicant:
- Proven technical expertise working on Tractors or Combine Harvesters within a similar Agri focused business.
- A recognised apprenticeship, C&G or NVQ in Land based engineering or a transferable qualification.
- Strong diagnostic ability across engines, hydraulic and electronic systems.
- A precise, methodical approach and pride in workmanship.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A customer-first attitude
