Workiva Reporting Consultant
Contract: 3 months initially

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Workiva Reporting Consultant to support a major Finance Transformation programme within a leading organisation.
The business has recently completed a significant upgrade of its finance application landscape, alongside a redesigned Chart of Accounts.
As part of the next phase of the programme, the organisation is looking to build and modify a number of tactical financial and statutory reports within Workiva.
The successful consultant will work closely with Finance, Finance Transformation and Technology stakeholders to understand existing reporting requirements, assess the impact of recent finance system changes and deliver accurate, robust reporting solutions within Workiva.
Key Responsibilities
- Review existing Workiva reports and identify required changes.
- Build, modify and enhance reports within Workiva.
- Support the remapping of reports following changes to the Chart of Accounts.
- Work with financial data originating from multiple source systems.
- Translate financial and statutory reporting requirements into effective Workiva solutions.
- Work with Finance stakeholders to gather and validate reporting requirements.
- Support data mapping, reconciliation and validation between source systems and Workiva.
- Investigate and resolve reporting and data quality issues.
- Support testing, UAT and reconciliation of newly developed or amended reports.
- Produce appropriate documentation covering report logic, mappings and processes.
- Work closely with the wider Finance Transformation programme.
- Potentially support wider reporting and data visualisation requirements involving Power BI.

Essential Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Workiva / Wdesk.
- Proven experience building and modifying financial reports within Workiva.
- Good understanding of statutory and financial reporting.
- Experience working within Finance Transformation or finance systems programmes.
- Strong understanding of Chart of Accounts structures, financial data mapping and reporting hierarchies.
- Experience reconciling financial data across multiple systems.
- Ability to work directly with senior Finance stakeholders and translate business requirements into reporting solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced project environment with limited supervision.

Desirable Experience
- Experience with Power BI and wider finance reporting environments.
- Experience with ERP and finance systems.
- Previous experience within a complex corporate or financial environment.
- Experience delivering reporting changes following a finance system implementation or Chart of Accounts redesign.
Candidate Profile
This role would suit a hands-on Workiva specialist who is comfortable operating between Finance and Technology. The successful consultant should be capable of quickly understanding an existing reporting environment, working through complex financial mappings and independently delivering reports through to testing and sign-off.
The assignment is expected to run for an initial 3 months, with the consultant working predominantly on-site in Central London, 4–5 days per week.
