Job Title
Workspace Ambassador
The Workspace Ambassador will embody and deliver an exceptional workplace experience with energy, passion and presence to all building users, creating a welcoming and professional environment across the client site.
Role Summary
Reporting to the Senior Workspace Ambassador, this customer-facing role is responsible for owning designated floors and surrounding areas to ensure the best possible workplace experience. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues, customers and suppliers, providing outstanding service while supporting facilities, workplace and technology initiatives.
A flexible approach, strong communication skills and the ability to use initiative are essential within this fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Have total ownership of designated floors and surrounding areas to ensure the best workplace experience
- Collaborate with IT, maintenance, cleaning and other key departments to ensure timely reporting and closure of tickets and jobs
- Coordinate works with internal teams to minimise disruption and maximise customer satisfaction
- Develop and maintain excellent communication with key colleagues
- Manage meeting rooms daily, ensuring cleanliness, readiness and fully functioning AV equipment
- Provide support to meetings as requested to ensure smooth delivery
- Manage stationery stock within print areas
- Conduct daily preventative maintenance checks on photocopiers, meeting rooms, breakout areas, kitchenettes and focus spaces
- Act as an ambassador for workplace technology applications, supporting and encouraging user adoption
- Support the Facilities team in managing sub-contracted services, ensuring services are delivered to a high standard and in line with client requirements
- Report health and safety hazards and raise tickets through Facilities and IT helpdesk systems
- Undertake general manual handling duties where required
- Maintain building communications, noticeboards, floor maps, fire warden and first aid information to ensure information remains current and accurate
- Assist the Facilities team with minor move requests when required
- Provide moves and changes liaison support, including portering and planning assistance
- Provide cover and support to other floors when required
- Become familiar with front-of-house duties and provide cover as needed
- Complete ad hoc administrative duties
- Support clear desk initiatives and workplace hygiene standards
- Act as Fire Marshal and support safe building evacuation procedures
- Complete all mandatory eLearning modules on time
- Champion and advocate CBRE's core values

- Strong customer service and communication skills
