ROLE: Workplace Coordinator

HOURS: 37.5 hours a week

LOCATION: Cambridge

We're looking for a Workplace Coordinator who will support the Workplace Services Manager to deliver workplace and soft service operations across all functions within the scope of works. This includes workplace services, catering and vending, front of house reception and client services, maintenance, cleaning, records management, print device availability, and stationery.

The Workplace Coordinator will support the wider workplace team to ensure the workplace services function achieves an exceptional service, satisfies business objectives and targets, and that the wider workplace team works effectively and efficiently. The role will contribute to continuous improvement and service development, ensuring all business processes are conducted in accordance with account policies and in a standard which protects and enhances the image and reputation of Mitie and EY as a client.

Role Responsibilities

  • Support the development and delivery of soft services focusing on workplace and housekeeping services through highly engaged teams.
  • Confidently support the wider Workplace teams and manage all day-to-day operational processes, ensuring service levels are maintained.
  • Consult closely with key client contacts and service users, becoming the senior contact for the contract.
  • Ensure resources meet demand across all service areas.
  • Support Health and Safety risk assessments where required.

Required Qualifications

  • Capable team leader with demonstrable experience supporting and supervising high-profile client-side workplace projects.
  • Demonstrable experience in facilities management services in a corporate environment.
  • Ability to communicate and interact with clients and team members at all levels.
  • Knowledge and understanding of health and safety relevant to the office environment, including Fire, First Aid, DSE, and accident reporting.
