Overview
CBRE is seeking a full-time Workplace Design Programs and Standards Manager to support the client's Global Workplace Design Program. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining standards and processes to ensure global consistency, safety, and operational excellence in the client's workplace design, build, and operations. The client has offices in Americas, EMEA, and APAC. Travel expectations will be on a case-by-case basis.
Responsibilities
Program Management & Strategy
- Lead development and implementation of the processes, tools, and strategies that operationalize the global workplace design program, driving workflow efficiency for cross-functional and consultant partners
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure alignment across multiple teams, stakeholders, and external partners
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for successful delivery of workplace design initiatives
- Develop and implement change management plans for program updates and improvements
- Deliver leadership-ready reporting that gives the client and CBRE a clear, current view of program health and drives decisions on priorities and resourcing
- Build onboarding and training materials that bring new cross-functional partners to independent use of the standards without one-on-one walkthroughs
- Maintain a single source of truth for all program materials, so cross-functional and consultant partners can self-serve the current approved version without routing through the program team

Technical Guidance & Standards Support
- Own the annual standards release cycle, publishing standards and technical content updates based on feedback and change requests
- Serve as the standards authority for cross-functional partners - resolving technical inquiries and advising on workplace design standards, infrastructure, and support needs at the project level
Data Analytics
- Turn occupancy and space data into standards changes and efficiency recommendations, with utilization, audit findings, and cost-per-seat analysis as recurring deliverables
- Partner with facilities operations on space audits, driving accurate space-type assignment so utilization and cost data can be trusted for planning decisions
Design, Content, and Process Optimization
- Conduct research and analysis to identify best practices and industry trends in workplace design and operations
- Establish the governance rules for how standards content is created, reviewed, and changed, ensuring consistency and accuracy
- Maintain CenterPoint as the client's platform of record for all standards content
- Use content engagement data to make standards easier to find and apply, measured by adoption and a reduction in repeat technical inquiries

Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a liaison and manage relationships between the client and vendors/service providers which include a range of disciplines involved in delivering workplace design such as architects, furniture dealers, contractors, and others.
- Review vendor contracts and advise on vendor-produced standards content for compliance
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 8+ years of experience in workplace operations, design, construction, or planning
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Experience leading cross-functional stakeholder collaboration and projects
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides)
- Proven experience developing and running programs - including the processes, governance, and tooling that sustain them
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with content management systems and process optimization
- Experience with space and occupancy data tools - Tableau, Archibus
- Working knowledge of Autodesk design tools - Forma, Revit, CAD
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
