I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Candidate
We are interested in designers across levels with 2+ years of professional experience within workplace or commercial interiors, through to experienced Senior Designers and Associate-level professionals looking to take on greater project or team leadership responsibilities, with strong experience leading and contributing to pitch work.
All candidates must have relevant workplace experience within either traditional design practices or design-led D&B studios delivering projects that go beyond cookie-cutter design.
Designers should demonstrate strong conceptual thinking, spatial planning and presentation skills, balanced with the ability to translate ideas into clear technical design packages.
For more senior roles, confidence in leading and contributing to pitch work, running multiple projects, presenting to clients and managing project teams will be important. A proactive, pragmatic approach and the ability to deliver projects efficiently within fast-paced environments will be key qualities for success.
Proficiency in REVIT, SketchUp and Adobe CS. Knowledge of workplace design standards, materials and supplier networks will also be advantageous.
Studio
These studios are recognised within the workplace sector for delivering innovative, design-led commercial interiors across London and beyond. Project work often includes collaborations with major landlords, global brands and fast-growing companies.
