Workplace Engineer – Packaging
Salary: £36,000 plus benefits, perks & healthcare options
Location: Salisbury
Job Type: Permanent | On-site
Requirements: SC Eligible & Sole UK Nationality
The Opportunity:
We’re looking for an experienced Workplace Engineer / Application Packager to join a growing End User Services team, supporting high-profile clients and helping improve how applications are delivered to end users.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll take ownership of application packaging, testing and troubleshooting, while also looking for opportunities to improve processes and introduce automation.
What you’ll be doing:
- Packaging applications across multiple platforms
- Using a range of application packaging tools and formats
- Carrying out quality assurance and application testing
- Troubleshooting packaging and application issues
- Supporting UAT and resolving faults
- Producing clear technical documentation
- Working with clients, third parties and software vendors
- Identifying opportunities for automation and process improvement

What we’re looking for:
- Strong experience in Application Packaging
- Experience packaging applications across multiple platforms
- Good knowledge of different packaging tools and formats
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with application testing and QA
- SCCM Current Branch experience is desirable
- Good communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.
To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
