Workplace Engineer – Packaging

Salary: £36,000 plus benefits, perks & healthcare options
Location: Salisbury
Job Type: Permanent | On-site
Requirements: SC Eligible & Sole UK Nationality

The Opportunity:

We’re looking for an experienced Workplace Engineer / Application Packager to join a growing End User Services team, supporting high-profile clients and helping improve how applications are delivered to end users.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll take ownership of application packaging, testing and troubleshooting, while also looking for opportunities to improve processes and introduce automation.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Packaging applications across multiple platforms
  • Using a range of application packaging tools and formats
  • Carrying out quality assurance and application testing
  • Troubleshooting packaging and application issues
  • Supporting UAT and resolving faults
  • Producing clear technical documentation
  • Working with clients, third parties and software vendors
  • Identifying opportunities for automation and process improvement

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong experience in Application Packaging
  • Experience packaging applications across multiple platforms
  • Good knowledge of different packaging tools and formats
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with application testing and QA
  • SCCM Current Branch experience is desirable
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
