Role: Workplace Engineering Track Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Ensure proper handover from project to BAU
  • Suggests improvements in the design/process to ease workflows
  • Oversee Day to Day Support of Workplace Virtualization Production Environment
  • Maintains High availability & Load balancing of all core, leveraged, dependant components
  • Conducts validation testing in UAT and change management to production
  • Performs any short term projects that relate to existing system expansion or enhancement
  • Performance check & tuning the system components for optimized performance
  • Establishes & documents procedures for environment health check, DR/BCP, session simulation drills
  • Escalates high severity issues & works along with consultants from service impact to improvement plans
  • Submits Root cause analysis reports while working with vendor partner for bugfixes
  • Keeps all confidential system credentials & data intact
  • Technical Writing - troubleshooting guides & documentation on known errors for L2 support groups
  • Develops automation capabilities wherever possible to reduce issues & complexity
  • Creates daily/weekly/monthly reports on system statistics, capacity, usage, analytics & other metrics
  • Ability to communicate complex technical contents plainly and simply
  • Trainings on Workplace support workflows to L2 teams
