Our Workplace Experience and Facilities team creates a safe, secure, sustainable and commute-worthy destination for our people, clients and visitors. With autonomy over how we operate our 120,000 sq. ft. London building, the team combines excellent day-to-day service with long-term thinking about how the workplace can evolve.
Purpose of the Role
As Workplace Experience and Facilities Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operations and experience of our London workplace. You will be a visible, trusted point of contact for colleagues and senior stakeholders, leading the team and ensuring the building runs safely, smoothly and efficiently.
- Lead day-to-day workplace experience and facilities operations across a 120,000 sq. ft. building, creating a safe, welcoming and high-quality environment for employees, clients and visitors.
- Own health and safety activity, including governance, compliance evidence, workplace checks, emergency procedures, DSE assessments, reasonable adjustments and first-aider and fire-marshal coverage.
- Maintain readiness for ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, ISO 22301, and ISO 27001 audits; manage incidents and emergencies as a senior on-site contact.
- Partner with the Technical Services Manager on hard services, contractor compliance, sustainability, energy efficiency and progress towards net-zero targets.
- Lead and develop the workplace experience team, oversee all key 3rd party suppliers and contracts, and ensure consistently high standards of service, compliance and accountability.
- Build trusted relationships across the business, supporting important client activity and using workplace data to support space optimisation used for alterations, refurbishments, relocations, workplace projects and space planning activities, ensuring requirements are appropriately scoped.

Qualifications & Skills
- Significant workplace experience or facilities management experience within a large, complex building, gained in-house or with a facilities service provider, with practical knowledge of both soft and hard facilities services.
- Strong working knowledge of health and safety, contractor management, emergency preparedness and facilities compliance, ideally with demonstrable experience supporting ISO 45001, 14001, 50001, 27001 and 22301 audits.
- Proven people leadership skills, with the ability to create accountability, support development and maintain high service standards through change.
- Confident stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation skills, with the gravitas, empathy and visibility to become a trusted go-to contact.
- A proactive, ownership-led and methodical approach, with the flexibility and composure to anticipate needs, maintain evidence and respond effectively to incidents and changing priorities.
- Strong analytical skills and experience using workplace or occupancy data to guide space planning and operational decisions; experience in a similarly dynamic environment and familiarity with MyCompliance would be useful but are not essential. IOSH, NEBOSH or equivalent preferred. Member of IWFM – Desirable.
