About The Role
We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused Workplace Experience Host to support the day-to-day operation of a busy head office environment. This role plays an important part in ensuring the workplace is safe, well-maintained, compliant, and delivers an exceptional experience for colleagues and visitors alike.
This is a varied role offering exposure across workplace operations, facilities administration, event support, health and safety, and visitor services.
Key Responsibilities
Workplace Operations
- Support the smooth daily operation of the office environment.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections and report any defects or issues.
- Assist with office moves, workplace reconfigurations, and workspace setup.
- Monitor office presentation standards and ensure workspaces remain clean and professional.
- Check external areas and report any maintenance or housekeeping concerns.
Meeting Room & Event Support
- Carry out meeting room checks to ensure rooms are fully prepared and operational.
- Support the setup and delivery of internal events, conferences, and business meetings.
- Ensure audio-visual equipment and meeting room facilities are functioning correctly.

Facilities Helpdesk Support
- Respond to facilities-related requests and undertake minor repairs where appropriate.
- Escalate issues requiring specialist support.
- Maintain accurate records of service requests and completed works.
Administration & Workplace Services
- Support incoming deliveries and outgoing mail and courier services.
- Assist with document archiving processes.
- Monitor and replenish office supplies.
- Produce routine reports and management information as required.
Reception & Visitor Experience
- Provide reception support during busy periods.
- Assist with visitor management processes.
- Deliver a welcoming, professional, and engaging experience for all visitors and colleagues.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Support workplace health and safety activities and compliance requirements.
- Assist with inspections, safety checks, and emergency preparedness activities.
- Maintain relevant records and documentation.
- Report hazards, incidents, and near misses promptly.
About You
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience in an office, facilities, customer service, hospitality, or administration role.
- Strong communication, organisational, and time management skills.
- Good Microsoft Office and general IT skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering excellent service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.

Desirable
- Experience within workplace experience, facilities management, office services, or front-of-house environments.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.
