Job Title: Workplace Experience Host
The Workplace Experience Host is responsible for delivering an exceptional workplace and guest experience, creating positive first impressions and ensuring excellent service delivery for employees, visitors and clients.
Role Summary
Collaborating within the Workplace team, the Experience Host embodies and delivers a 5-star experience with energy, passion and presence to all staff and guests.
This important position sets the tone for the overall workplace experience by creating the first human touchpoint and making a consistent, positive and welcoming impression. The role supports and coordinates workplace experience services, whilst providing administrative assistance where required. Services may be delivered directly by CBRE or through third-party service providers working alongside this role.
- Provide an exceptional guest experience to all colleagues and guests
- Deliver purposeful and personalised service to enhance the customer journey
- Take ownership of the reception foyer and surrounding areas to ensure the best first impression and workplace experience
- Support the Workplace Experience Team and wider CBRE community with administrative tasks including mail services, event management, desk booking and locker management
- Request building and equipment services as required
- Support onboarding activities, including new employee orientation, workflow assistance, equipment and software ordering and first-day welcome processes
- Provide administrative support including meeting coordination, event support, office equipment management and supply control
- Respond to workplace service requests and complaints from the building community
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and service providers
- Ensure all suppliers maintain current insurance documentation and contractual compliance requirements
- Support workplace safety standards for both CBRE employees and third-party service providers
- Manage facilities and office service requests, following through to completion and escalating recurring issues where appropriate
- Manage workplace stock and ensure suitable processes are in place to maintain optimum inventory levels

Experience Required
- Strong communication skills with the ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, correspondence and workplace procedures
- Ability to ask clarifying questions, prepare routine reports and communicate effectively with clients, colleagues and management
- Ability to present information confidently to internal teams and larger employee groups
- Basic financial knowledge and understanding of financial terminology and principles
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex situations with multiple considerations
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Outlook
- Comfortable using workplace technologies, digital applications, databases, cloud-based systems and work order management platforms
- Results-oriented with a passion for delivering high standards and achieving business objectives
- Strong customer focus with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
- Degree or further education qualification preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience within Front Desk, Concierge, Hospitality, Room Management or Customer Service environments preferred
- Experience within Facilities Management and/or working with suppliers and contractors would be beneficial
