We are currently working with Architectural Studios who work on mixed projects predominantly workplace fit outs who need interior designers across all levels from Mid-level to Senior to join their thieving studios. Candidates will have a portfolio displaying a diverse range of projects, with evidence of process work including concept and technical packages and a good knowledge of hard and soft finishes along with the ability to show how they approach the whole design process. You will need to have proven experience in Workplace but a mixed folio in F&B, Retail, or mixed-use would be considered if workplace fit outs feature in a previous practice. The projects are very contemporary with a high-end London feel in looks and style so experience in the UK marketplace is a must unless you can prove me wrong and display a portfolio that stands out and is exceptional. The roles will require and cover different reasonability’s, but all positions require designers who are confident and are able to adapt across all the design stages so someone who likes to be involved at all levels of a project. The studio needs both Designers and Technicians and have recently won some very prestigious interior projects of note.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
