Job Description

We are looking for a highly adaptable and customer-focused Workplace Support Host for our team based with a world renown bank in the city.

The focus of the Workplace Support Host is to provide an exceptional workplace and hospitality services within this high end corporate environment. As the most flexible member of the team, you will support a variety of workplace functions, including Welcome Host, Community Host, and Evening Workplace Host duties. You will be a key point of contact for colleagues, visitors, and senior stakeholders, ensuring a seamless workplace experience and consistently high service standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a professional and welcoming experience for all visitors and colleagues.
  • Support workplace operations, meeting room management, and front-of-house services.
  • Conduct floor walks, workplace checks, and audits to maintain high standards.
  • Manage workplace issues through internal systems and ensure timely resolution.
  • Set up, check, and troubleshoot meeting room AV and conferencing equipment.
  • Provide support for meeting room bookings and workplace enquiries.
  • Maintain accurate records, logs, and administrative tasks.
  • Promote a safe, secure, and compliant working environment.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Support wider team objectives, workplace events, and engagement activities.

Hours

40 hours per week, with varying 8 hour shifts between 7am and 9pm, Mon-Fri


Salary

£36,455 per annum

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience in a corporate, hospitality, hotel, or customer-facing environment.
  • Experience using visitor management, room booking, switchboard, or helpdesk systems.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience supporting AV and conferencing technology.
  • Knowledge of workplace services, facilities management, SLAs, and KPIs.
  • Understanding of Health & Safety and Data Protection requirements.
