Job Description
We are looking for a highly adaptable and customer-focused Workplace Support Host for our team based with a world renown bank in the city.
The focus of the Workplace Support Host is to provide an exceptional workplace and hospitality services within this high-end corporate environment. As the most flexible member of the team, you will support a variety of workplace functions, including Welcome Host, Community Host, and Evening Workplace Host duties. You will be a key point of contact for colleagues, visitors, and senior stakeholders, ensuring a seamless workplace experience and consistently high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a professional and welcoming experience for all visitors and colleagues.
- Support workplace operations, meeting room management, and front-of-house services.
- Conduct floor walks, workplace checks, and audits to maintain high standards.
- Manage workplace issues through internal systems and ensure timely resolution.
- Set up, check, and troubleshoot meeting room AV and conferencing equipment.
- Provide support for meeting room bookings and workplace enquiries.
- Maintain accurate records, logs, and administrative tasks.
- Promote a safe, secure, and compliant working environment.
- Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Support wider team objectives, workplace events, and engagement activities.

Hours
40 hours per week, with varying 8 hour shifts between 7am and 9pm, Mon-Fri
Salary
£36,455 per annum
Qualifications
- A genuine passion for customer service.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organisation and multitasking abilities.
- A flexible, positive, and solutions-focused approach.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and executives.
- The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience in a corporate, hospitality, hotel, or customer-facing environment.
- Experience using visitor management, room booking, switchboard, or helpdesk systems.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience supporting AV and conferencing technology.
- Knowledge of workplace services, facilities management, SLAs, and KPIs.
- Understanding of Health & Safety and Data Protection requirements.
