JOB TITLE: Workplace Tech Engineer

SALARY: £53,073 - £58,790

LOCATION: London

HOURS: Full-Time

WORKING PATTERN: This role is required to be based on-site at our Paddington office five days per week to provide hands-on support to colleagues and ensure our office technology and infrastructure operate effectively.

What you'll be doing…

As a Workplace Tech Engineer, you will be part of our SecOps team, supporting around 200 employees and external contractors and helping ensure they have access to the technology, services and workflows they need to work efficiently, safely and securely. Reporting to the VP, Engineering & CISO, you will act as the first point of contact for IT support across the organisation, providing support from first-line queries through to executive-level appointments. You'll manage support requests, administer internal systems, maintain our hardware inventory, support new starter onboarding and work closely with our facilities team to ensure office equipment, networking and AV systems are operating effectively. You will also contribute to improving and documenting internal technology processes, helping the SecOps function scale as the organisation continues to grow.

What we're looking for?

  • Experience providing IT support within a fast-paced organisation, including first-line support and supporting senior or executive stakeholders
  • Strong experience administering Google Workspace
  • Experience working with identity and access management tools such as OneLogin
  • Experience administering Atlassian products including Confluence and Jira Software
  • Experience working with Mobile Device Management and Endpoint Detection & Response solutions
  • Strong experience supporting MacOS environments
  • Good understanding of networking fundamentals and experience supporting office networks
  • Experience supporting AV solutions and office technology
  • Strong documentation skills with the ability to create, maintain and improve internal processes and technical documentation
  • Ability to work independently, make informed decisions with minimal guidance and take ownership of issues through to resolution
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on providing timely, clear and professional support
  • Good understanding of information security best practices and the current threat landscape
  • Basic knowledge of code, APIs and integrating different tools and systems
  • A proactive approach to keeping up to date with technology, security standards and industry developments
