Principal Contractor Opportunity
A Principal Contractor delivering multi-disciplinary buildings and civil engineering projects for Network Rail has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Works Delivery Manager to support the delivery of reactive works across our growing rail framework portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive rail business focused on collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence.

Based in Chasterfiled with Travel.
Role Responsibilities
As a Works Delivery Manager you will be responsible for:
- Leading the safe and efficient delivery of multiple rail infrastructure projects and workstreams
- Managing labour, plant, materials, and subcontractors across multiple sites
- Coordinating delivery teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure successful project outcomes
- Driving health & safety, quality, and environmental compliance
- Managing programme performance, budgets, risks, and KPIs
- Supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives

Essential Experience
- Proven experience delivering works within a reactive rail framework environment
- Strong understanding of the challenges associated with managing multiple concurrent workstreams and client-driven response times
- Experience working on Network Rail frameworks or similar client-led delivery contracts
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Knowledge of rail safety, quality, and environmental standards
Demonstrable Experience
- Delivering a variety of lineside civil engineering works, including but not limited to:
- Brickwork and structural repairs
- Vegetation management / de-vegetation
- Drainage works
- Fencing
- Access improvements
- Earthworks and minor civils
- Asset maintenance and renewals

Salary / Package
Circa £48,000 - £55,000 negotiable dependant on experience plus package / car / allowance
