Works Inspector – London
Contract: 12 months initially, potential extension
Location: London – site based
Rate: £402–£407/day Umbrella
We are recruiting for an experienced Works Inspector to support major construction and transport infrastructure projects across London.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and supervise construction works on site.
- Inspect reinforced concrete (RC) works and review reinforcement drawings.
- Review and implement Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).
- Undertake independent examinations and quality inspections.
- Monitor structural steelwork installations.
- Oversee highways works, including waterproofing and surfacing.
- Identify and escalate quality or technical issues where required.

Essential Experience
- Strong reinforced concrete inspection/delivery experience.
- Comprehensive ITP experience.
- Highways construction experience, particularly waterproofing and surfacing.
- Previous site inspection or supervision experience.
- Civil engineering, highways, rail or transport infrastructure background.

Requirements: CSCS Card and full UK driving licence.
This is a site-focused role suited to an experienced inspector who can work independently and make informed decisions around construction quality and compliance.
