Workshop Based Engineer

Middleplatt Rd, Immingham, UK

Full Time

As part of our continuing expansion plans, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Workshop based Generator Engineer to work on our large fleet of generators, pumps, mobile lighting towers and associated equipment for 20Kva to 2000Kva.

Duties Include

  • Preparation of equipment for hire
  • Fault diagnosis and repair of mechanical issues on generators, pumps and lighting towers.
  • Identify parts required to facilitate effective repairs
  • Carry out major repairs to minimise downtime and maximise fleet availability. Including engine repairs and major rebuilds.
  • Load test on generators to ensure effectiveness of equipment.

Essential

Skills and Experience

  • Possess a relevant qualification in Mechanical/ Diesel Fitting/ Plant Fitting
  • Or, proven experience in a similar role repairing generators
