Workshop Controller – Dagenham

£32,000 Basic Salary | Up to £53,000 OTE

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Workshop Controller to join a busy and successful dealership in Dagenham.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to take ownership of workshop operations, ensuring maximum productivity, efficiency and high standards of workmanship while supporting a team of skilled technicians.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the day-to-day running of the workshop.
  • Allocating work efficiently to technicians based on skill set and workload.
  • Monitoring workshop productivity and ensuring jobs are completed on time.
  • Supporting and motivating the workshop team to achieve performance targets.
  • Maintaining high standards of quality, health and safety, and manufacturer compliance.
  • Liaising with the Service Department to ensure customers are kept informed of repair progress.
  • Assisting with technical queries and ensuring an excellent level of customer satisfaction.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience as a Workshop Controller, Senior Technician or Workshop Supervisor within the motor trade.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.
  • Excellent technical knowledge and diagnostic understanding.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive approach with a focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Full UK driving licence.
