Up to £48,600 OTE (basic £39,000)
Role Overview
An exciting opportunity has become available here in Farnborough Audi dealership, as we’re on the lookout for an experienced Workshop Controller to join our dynamic team in our impressive facility. It is the perfect opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic Workshop Controller to advance their career with a world-renowned brand.
Responsibilities
As a Workshop Controller, you will:
- Supervise and motivate our team of Technicians & Apprentices
- Pro-actively review and prioritise the daily workload
- Report to the Aftersales Manager and receive ongoing support
- Participate in brand-specific training to progress within the motor trade industry
- Ensure the day-to-day running of the workshop
- Assist the Service Manager in ensuring the department provides the best possible service to customers and achieves agreed profits and retention levels
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by implementing relevant quality checks
- Ensure all working practices comply with company, DVSA, health and safety, and OEM policy
- Make sure all service work is carried out correctly, competently, and on time, with customer satisfaction in mind
- Maintain relationships with the vehicle manufacturer and provide support to Technicians during repairs
- Ensure high standards are achieved and maintained within the workshop and surrounding areas
- Liaise with colleagues and other departments to ensure a top-quality service for customers
- Schedule work to meet customer needs, taking into account workshop targets, the complexity of each job, and the availability of parts
- Assist with technical challenges by going above and beyond to support the team and writing technical reports
