About The Role

We are looking for a Workshop Controller / Service Advisor to join our Mazda team at Sandicliffe Nottingham. This is a customer-facing and operational role that plays a key part in ensuring the smooth running of the workshop while delivering a professional, transparent service experience for our customers.

You will act as the link between customers, technicians, and the wider service team, balancing workshop efficiency with high standards of customer care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and control daily workshop activity to maximise efficiency and productivity
  • Liaise closely with technicians to monitor job progress and resolve issues
  • Welcome customers, manage service bookings, and explain work required clearly
  • Provide regular updates to customers throughout the service process
  • Prepare estimates, authorise work, and ensure accurate invoicing
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with Mazda and Sandicliffe standards
  • Maintain compliance with health & safety and manufacturer requirements

About You

  • Experience in a service advisor, workshop controller, or similar aftersales role
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Customer-focused with a calm, professional approach
  • Confident prioritising workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work collaboratively with a diverse team
  • Knowledge of Mazda systems or processes would be advantageous, but not essential
  • Full UK driving licence
