I am recruiting for my client, a well-established engineering business specialising in the supply, installation, and support of highly technical electronic equipment throughout the UK. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Workshop Electronics Engineer to join their team based in Poulton le Fylde.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ex-military engineer with a strong electronics background looking to join a growing business where you will receive full product training and work on a wide range of specialist electronic systems. The role is predominantly workshop-based with occasional travel to customer sites to support installations, commissioning, and technical projects.

Workshop Electronics Engineer Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, fault find, and repair specialist electronic equipment.
- Test, inspect, and commission equipment prior to customer delivery.
- Provide telephone and remote technical support to customers.
- Support customer installations, upgrades, and technical projects when required.
- Participate in the out-of-hours technical support rota once fully trained.

Workshop Electronics Engineer Requirements:
- Proven electronics engineering experience with a minimum of Level 3 qualification or above in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or another relevant engineering discipline.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Experience working with electronic systems, circuit boards, power supplies, and software-controlled equipment.
- Ability to install, configure, and update software.
- Good IT skills with experience using Windows-based operating systems.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites when required.
