Workshop Engineer
Location: Sittingbourne
Salary: £40,000 – £43,000 + Overtime + Benefits
NEOS Engineering are recruiting for a Workshop Engineer to join a successful and expanding Plant Hire business at their Swindon depot.
The company operates a varied fleet of plant and construction equipment and is looking for an experienced Engineer who can take responsibility for servicing, maintaining and repairing machinery from the workshop.
The Role
- Service and repair plant and construction machinery
- Mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault finding
- Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Prepare equipment for hire
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs to minimise downtime
- Maintain high standards of safety and workmanship

The Candidate
- Suitable candidates could come from Plant Hire, Construction Equipment, Agricultural Machinery, Access Equipment, Forklifts or similar heavy engineering backgrounds.
- Previous experience as a Workshop Engineer, Plant Fitter, Heavy Plant Engineer, Service Engineer or similar would be ideal.
