Workshop Engineer

We're looking for a proactive and technically skilled Workshop Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, problem-solving, and working with innovative medical technologies in a quality-driven environment.
As a Workshop Engineer, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing Baxter products, ensuring they perform reliably and safely for healthcare providers and patients. You'll work as part of a supportive team while having the autonomy to manage your own workload and make a meaningful impact every day.
What You'll Be Doing
- Service, maintain, troubleshoot and repair Baxter medical devices within the workshop environment.
- Ensure products are returned to customers safely, efficiently, and in line with agreed service levels.
- Build positive relationships with customers, colleagues and key business stakeholders.
- Investigate and manage product service issues and complaints, delivering resolutions within defined timelines and KPIs.
- Accurately document service activities and maintain up-to-date records within Baxter's service management systems.
- Follow established service procedures, technical documentation and quality processes to ensure compliance and consistency.
- Support a culture of continuous improvement, quality excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain compliance with Baxter's Quality Management System, Enterprise Management System, and Health & Safety standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the business and contribute to team success.
- Take on additional responsibilities and development opportunities as required.

What We're Looking For
We're interested in hearing from individuals who are passionate about engineering, customer service and continuous improvement.
Preferred Experience & Qualifications
- Qualification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Experience within an engineering, service or technical repair environment.
- Experience working within healthcare, medical devices or other regulated industries is advantageous.
- Understanding of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protection principles.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and quality management systems.
