Workshop Engineer (Mechanical)

£40,000 - £42,000 + Overtime (OTE £49k) + Training + Progression + 30 Days Holiday + Company Bonus

Are you a Workshop Engineer, mechanically qualified looking for the opportunity to join an innovative business that manufacture special purpose vehicles and can offer expert electrical training to enable a multi-skilled career path?

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Fault diagnosing, installing and maintaining gearboxes, diesel engines and braking systems of electric yard tractors
  • You will receive full in-house training on all equipment

Established for over 10 years, this specialist company provides the sale, servicing and maintenance of specialist yard tractors and heavy-duty equipment for customers across the UK and Ireland. With a growing team of 23, they are now looking for a Workshop Engineer to join their team and support their continued growth.

This role would suit a Workshop Engineer who is looking for full electrical training to enable your technical development, becoming a truly Multi-skilled Engineer.

The Role:

  • Maintaining, fault diagnosing and repairing electrical yard tractors
  • Full electrical training to enable your technical development
  • Progression opportunities into supervisory and managerial positions
  • Optional overtime, paid at 1.5x
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

The Person:

  • Workshop Engineer or similar
  • Mechanical qualification (NVQ, HC, HND or similar)
