About the Role

Our Engineering team at Rubix plays a vital role in solving complex challenges and delivering practical, innovative solutions that keep our customers moving. Key Responsibilities

  • Production and Repair of Valve Assemblies utilising the following equipment subject to training / experience competency sign-off:
    • Abrasive Wheels + other air tools
    • Low- & High-Pressure Valve Test Rigs
    • Lathes
    • Milling Machine
    • Hand Power Tools
    • Lapping Machine
    • Metal washer
    • Ultrasonic parts cleaner
    • Shot Blaster
    • Hand Tools
    • Overhead Crane
  • Reading of Engineering Drawings
  • Measuring Equipment

  • Effective use of time and prioritisation of work in accordance with instructions from management.
  • Maintaining accurate records (Test Certificates, work signoffs MRP records, production notes)
  • To undertake any other duties as may be required which are appropriate to the role and competency of the employee.
  • Follow policies and procedures in conjunction with quality management system.
  • To be aware of and adhere to all health and safety requirements relevant to your work set out by Rubix, and following all company risk assessments and method statements.
  • Always wearing all appropriate PPE in accordance with company Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
  • Ensure that the workplace areas are kept clear, clean and tidy - high standard of housekeeping. All ISO 14001 environmental requirements are met.
  • Undertake any training courses assigned to you by management to be competent in your role.
  • Organisation and maintenance of all tools and equipment.
