At Hydro International, we're helping customers around the world improve water and wastewater infrastructure through innovative engineering solutions. We're looking for a hands-on Workshop Engineer to join our Nottingham operation and play a key role in supporting workshop, stores and yard activities.

The Role

Reporting to the Deputy Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for keeping workshop operations running efficiently, supporting stock and stores management, maintaining equipment, and ensuring customer orders are processed safely, accurately and on time. You'll work closely with operational, engineering and supply chain teams to deliver excellent service and maintain high standards across the workshop.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing day-to-day workshop activities and workload priorities.
  • Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders.
  • Using ERP systems to maintain accurate stock and operational records.
  • Maintaining workshop equipment, tools and facilities.
  • Managing consumables and supporting inventory control.
  • Promoting a safe, clean and compliant working environment.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and business objectives.

What We're Looking For

  • Workshop, engineering, stores or warehouse experience.
  • A valid UK driving licence.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with a strong focus on safety and quality.
  • Forklift licence and water industry experience would be advantageous.
