Workshop Engineer
Milton Keynes | Full-Time | Office-Based (Monday to Friday)

We're looking for a Workshop Engineer to join our Milton Keynes team. If you're a hands-on IT professional who enjoys building, configuring and deploying devices, thrives on organisation, and takes pride in delivering a great customer experience, we'd love to hear from you.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. One day you could be configuring a fleet of laptops for a client rollout, the next supporting a project team, managing stock, or delivering and installing equipment on-site.
What You'll Be Doing
As our Workshop Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring our clients receive technology that's ready to perform from day one.
You'll be responsible for:
- Building, configuring and preparing new equipment to client specifications
- Delivering, installing and configuring end-user devices on client sites when required
- Providing remote and on-site technical support to clients
- Managing workshop inventory and maintaining our storage facilities
- Receiving, tracking and shipping customer equipment in line with company procedures
- Performing quality checks on all equipment before deployment
- Logging and managing activity through our CRM system
- Maintaining accurate client documentation and asset records
- Supporting project delivery alongside our Technical Services team
- Following information security policies and best practice standards

About You
You'll already have experience in a Service Desk or IT support environment and enjoy combining technical expertise with excellent customer service.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience working as a Service Desk Engineer or within an IT support environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop and server technologies
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments
- Understanding of Backup and Disaster Recovery (DRaaS) solutions
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- A proactive approach to problem solving
Desirable Skills
It would be great if you also have knowledge of:
- TCP/IP networking, routing, switching and firewalls
- Azure Active Directory and IaaS technologies
- Microsoft Intune and Conditional Access
- Mimecast email security
