Workshop & Field Service Engineer – Coffee Machines

Julius Distribution UK Ltd is looking for a practical and motivated Workshop & Field Service Engineer to join our technical team in Nottingham.
This is primarily a workshop-based position, servicing, repairing, refurbishing and preparing professional coffee machines and associated equipment.
The successful candidate will also support our field engineering team when required, travelling to customer sites for service calls, breakdowns, installations and preventative maintenance.
Previous coffee-machine experience would be an advantage, but is not essential. We are happy to consider candidates from electrical, mechanical, vending, catering equipment, appliance repair or similar technical backgrounds. Full product training will be provided.

Main Responsibilities
- Diagnose, service and repair commercial coffee machines and grinders
- Refurbish and prepare equipment in our Nottingham workshop
- Carry out preventative maintenance, cleaning and descaling
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical and basic plumbing faults
- Test machines before installation or return to customers
- Prepare equipment for new installations
- Attend customer sites for breakdowns and service call-outs when required
- Assist with installations and commissioning
- Complete service reports and record spare parts used
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop
- Work closely with our Head of Engineering and wider engineering team
What We're Looking For
- Practical electrical and/or mechanical experience
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Confident using tools and working with technical equipment
- Reliable and organised approach to work
- Good communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to work independently once trained
- Willingness to travel for customer call-outs when required
- Full UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK

Previous experience with commercial coffee machines, vending machines, catering equipment, white goods or similar equipment would be beneficial, but is not essential.
