Plant Fitter

Location: West Midlands / Warwickshire
Salary: £20.00 – £21.50 per hour
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

The Opportunity

We are working with an established and growing specialist within the plant and construction equipment industry, who have recently expanded their operations through a new franchise bringing CASE construction equipment into their product offering.

As a result of this expansion, they are looking for an experienced Plant Fitter / Plant Engineer to join their team.

This is a varied role, offering a 60/40 split between workshop and field-based work, giving you the opportunity to work on a wide range of plant equipment while also attending customer sites across the West Midlands and Warwickshire.

The ideal candidate will have experience working across multiple manufacturers and types of plant equipment, with strong mechanical and hydraulic knowledge and the ability to diagnose faults effectively.

Experience with CASE and/or Sunward equipment would be highly advantageous, although full manufacturer training will be provided for the right candidate.

The Role

As a Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, repair and fault diagnosis of a variety of construction and plant equipment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
