🔧 We’re hiring: Workshop Foreman
DAW Signs & Fit-Outs is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Workshop Foreman to join our team in Glasgow.
Your background doesn’t have to be in signage or joinery.
We’re also interested in hearing from people with management or supervisory experience from other industries who have strong organisational skills, are confident leading a team and enjoy working in a practical, fast-paced environment.
If you have experience managing people, planning workloads, working to deadlines and solving problems, we’d like to hear from you.
Working from our 33,000 sq ft factory, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of our workshop, overseeing production across both our signage and joinery departments.
This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys being involved in the work, can organise a busy production environment and is confident leading a team.

The role will include:
- Managing and supporting the workshop team
- Planning and prioritising daily production
- Working hands-on across signage and joinery projects
- Reading technical drawings, specifications and job sheets
- Operating workshop machinery and equipment
- Maintaining quality and production standards
- Resolving production issues and supporting the team with technical queries
- Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained
- Helping to develop and support workshop team members
We’re looking for someone who is organised, practical and confident taking responsibility for a busy team. Previous experience in a workshop, manufacturing, construction, retail, hospitality or another management environment could be relevant.

Experience in signage, joinery, shopfitting, furniture manufacture or fabrication would be advantageous, but we’re open to candidates from other management backgrounds with the right skills and approach.
📍 Glasgow
🕐 Full-time, permanent
💷 Salary depending on experience
🏭 Monday to Friday
📦 Relocation package available for the right candidate
