At IOLLA we're looking for a Workshop Glazing Assistant to join our team.

What You'll Do
- Be a key part of our Workshop team, which assembles and dispatches glasses to our customers.
- Work predominantly in the Glazing department, executing defined procedures on our manufacturing line to accurately produce glasses to British Standards and agreed SLAs.
- Operate our Glazing machinery and contribute to a constantly improving, efficient production facility.
- Take responsibility for quality checks and quality assurance of our final product.
- Carry out adjustments and repairs, and perform refresh techniques on customer frames and lenses.
- Handle supplier ordering and tracking, as well as the organization and handling of deliveries.
- Work efficiently and in an organized manner to ensure orders are dispatched to customers on time.
- Perform ad-hoc duties across all areas of the workshop department during peak operational periods.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment, ensuring all health and safety standards are met, alongside general maintenance and upkeep of machinery and equipment.

- You have previous optical and glazing experience, with knowledge of lenses, frames, and materials used within eyewear production.

This role will be based in Glasgow at our HQ and Workshop base.
