About the Role
This role will suit someone with strong workshop leadership experience who is equally comfortable managing people, sound computing skills, solving technical problems and getting involved when needed. Clean and full UK motorcycle driving licence must be held.
A fast-paced position where you will lead from the front desk, meet & greet, receive motorcycles for the working day, process labour and parts costings to jobs, contacting customer for collections, receiving payment and hand overs. Effective management of the team of technicians and ensure the workplace runs in a timely, professional, reliable, presentable and compliant with safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Allocating job cards according to technician skill levels and allotted time frame
- Oversee servicing, repairs, maintenance and preparation operations
- Providing advice and ordering tyres, updating work progress, and resolving escalated technical complaints.
- Clear communication with customers both in person and via a very busy phone system and email.
- Utilising databases, DMS, Catalyst systems for daily processes and KPI’s.
- Working closely with the internal departments for parts, handovers and accounting for planning and performance achievement.
- Constantly review and improve workshop systems, processes and operational efficiency
- Handle warranty claims and workshop documentation, insurance claim processing and claiming, constantly reviewing performance and achievement levels for Kawasaki KPI’s
