Job Description
Location: Donnelly M1 Motorstore, 181 Ballygawley Road
Donnelly Group is hiring an experienced Workshop Manager to join our team. Working within a busy and successful dealership, this is an excellent opportunity to take on a key leadership role, supporting our workshop team and helping to deliver high standards of performance, quality, and customer service.
About The Role
About This Role
- Manage the workshop workload and allocate jobs to Technicians to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure vehicles complete the eVHC process and support Service Advisors with additional work requirements, costs, and timings.
- Monitor repairs to ensure all work is completed correctly, efficiently, and Right First Time.
- Identify warranty repairs and obtain authorization where required.
- Support Technicians with complex technical issues, escalating where necessary.
- Keep Service Advisors updated on repair progress and any additional work identified.
- Ensure Repair Orders/Job Cards are accurate, complete, and suitable for customer explanations and warranty claims.
- Carry out quality control checks, including road tests where required.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Ensure completed vehicles are prepared and ready for customer collection.
The Person
- Ideally fully qualified to Master Technician level and have experience in a supervisory/managerial role.
- Must have at least 3-4 years of experience, ideally within a franchised workshop.
- Must possess experience in electrical repairs and the use of diagnostic equipment.
- A full driving license is essential.

Required Criteria
- Ideally fully qualified to Master Technician level and have experience in a supervisory/managerial role.
- A full driving license is essential.
- Previous supervisory or managerial experience is highly desirable.
