Are you an experienced VMU Manager, Workshop Manager or Fleet Maintenance Manager looking for your next leadership opportunity with an award-winning employer?

You'll take ownership of the day-to-day workshop operation, leading and motivating your team to deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring productivity, fleet availability and operational performance remain at the highest standards. You'll be responsible for workforce planning, labour control, workshop performance, WIP management, health and safety compliance, recruitment, coaching and developing your team, while working closely with senior leadership to drive continuous improvement.

Role: VMU Manager aka Workshop Manager, Fleet Maintenance Manager, HGV Workshop Manager, Commercial Vehicle Workshop Manager

Salary: £45k per annum plus great benefits

Location: Didcot, Oxford

We're looking for someone with a Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or IMI qualification in Vehicle Repair and Maintenance, together with previous workshop management experience within the commercial vehicle, automotive or fleet maintenance sector. You'll be an engaging leader with excellent communication skills, strong commercial awareness and the ability to create a positive, high-performing team culture.
