Location: Swadlincote, DE11 9DF
Salary: £30,500 - £34,000 per annum
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: Weekdays Only, 7am-5pm or 6am-4pm (no weekends)

As a Workshop PDI Checker, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our powered access and lifting equipment is fully inspected, tested, and prepared to the highest standards. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining our reputation for quality, reliability, and safety.

Workshop PDI Checker - Key Responsibilities
- Performing Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) to ensure all equipment meets safety and performance standards
- Performing routine checks
- Ensuring all equipment is clean, fully operational, and compliant with safety regulations
- Working collaboratively with the engineering team to maintain high service levels
Workshop PDI Checker - What We’re Looking For
- Relevant Engineering Qualification (Mechanical, Electrical, or similar) is desirable
- Experience with access equipment (e.g., scissor lifts, boom lifts) is desirable. (Training provided)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive ‘can-do’ attitude to problem solving
- The ability to prioritise tasks in an ever-changing demanding hire environment and work well under pressure
