£16-19ph + Overtime
NEOS Engineering are currently recruiting for an experienced Workshop Plant Fitter to join a well-established and highly respected heavy plant dealership based in Newry.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a business with a fantastic reputation within the construction and agricultural sectors, working on a modern fleet of machinery in a well-equipped workshop. The Role
As a Workshop Plant Fitter, you'll be responsible for carrying out servicing, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of heavy plant and construction equipment.

This is predominantly a workshop-based role where you'll diagnose faults, complete repairs efficiently and ensure equipment is maintained to the highest standard before returning to customers.
What You'll Be Doing
- Carrying out routine servicing and preventative maintenance.
- Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
- Repairing engines, transmissions, hydraulics and electrical systems.
- Completing inspections and preparing machines for delivery.
- Working safely and maintaining high workshop standards.
- Completing job documentation accurately.

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Plant Fitter, Workshop Engineer, Service Engineer or Heavy Plant Technician.
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical diagnostic skills.
- Experience working on construction plant, agricultural machinery or heavy equipment.
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant Maintenance (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
