Your role

Role

Bring your curiosity to work as our next Workshop Service Technician (f/m/d). You will be part of our Leybold UK service team reporting to [Hiring manager title]. In this role, your mission is to:

  • Perform professional maintenance and repair of pumps to the highest possible standard
  • Ensure that customer expectations are met every time.

You will contribute directly to the creation of high‑quality products and solutions for our customers.

Your day-to-day activities

  • Independently perform maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Follow service maintenance guidelines to perform the disassembly, inspection, cleaning, diagnosis, spare part replacement, reassembly and testing of returned products.
  • Complete service documentation in accordance with Leybold or customer standards and maintain accurate records in the work order system.
  • Carry out repair, maintenance, and calibration services in line with KPI requirements and other relevant standards, ensuring service quality, turnaround time, and efficiency.
  • Maintain 5S standards in the workplace (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardise, and Sustain).
  • Properly use, manage tools and equipment assigned under personal responsibility.

Your Skills And Experience

Education level

  • Qualification (for example BTEC) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

Work Experience

  • Experience in mechanical assembly, vacuum pump, or equipment repair.
  • Three years experience in manufacturing (ideal, but not essential)
