Workshop Stores Controller
📍 Kington St Michael, Wiltshire
💰 £30,000–£35,000 DOE
🕐 Monday–Friday | 7:30am–4:00pm
📌 Full-time | Permanent | Site-based
Are you organised, hands-on and the type of person who likes knowing exactly where everything is? ScaleX™ Talent Solutions are working with a growing engineering business to recruit an Engineering Stores Coordinator to take ownership of their workshop stores.
This is a varied role where you'll play an important part in keeping the workshop running smoothly — making sure stock, parts and equipment are received, recorded, organised and available when the engineering and production teams need them.
What you'll be doing:
- Receiving and checking incoming deliveries
- Managing stock levels and keeping inventory records accurate
- Organising the workshop stores and completing regular stock takes
- Working closely with Procurement, Engineering and Production
- Managing goods inwards, returns and associated paperwork
- Keeping track of workshop tooling, calibration and certification
- Safely loading, unloading and moving stock
- Keeping the stores organised, safe and running efficiently

What we're looking for:
You'll ideally have experience within stores, stock control, goods inwards or inventory, particularly within an engineering, manufacturing or production environment.
You'll be comfortable using computer-based systems, have good attention to detail and be confident managing your own workload.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a team and isn't afraid to get stuck in when needed.
A full UK driving licence is required.
