What We Do
STEF Langdons delivers chilled and frozen food to almost any location across the UK and Ireland within 24 hours, supported by 12 depots and a fleet of over 500 vehicles.
The Role
As a Workshop Technician, you’ll play an important role in keeping our fleet safe, compliant and on the road. You’ll service and repair vehicles and trailers, diagnose defects and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required standards.
You’ll also prepare vehicles and trailers for MOT inspections, use diagnostic equipment to identify faults and liaise with manufacturers and colleagues to keep repairs and parts moving.

You’ll need to be organised, proactive and confident solving problems, while maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness and record keeping.
What You’ll Need
- Level 3 qualification or equivalent in HGV/LGV maintenance and repair
- Experience using transport repair tools and associated software
- Experience following established procedures and making sound judgements when faced with problems
- Good communication, organisation and time-management skills
- Ability to work to changing priorities and deadlines
- A proactive approach and commitment to high standards of safety and quality
Available Shift Pattern(s)
- Monday - Friday 06:00 - 14:00 (week 1) and 14:00 - 22:00 (week 2) rotating shift
