About the role
- Working safely as part of a team tasked with manufacturing Draeger’s Fire & Gas detection systems.
- Manufacturing Fire & Gas detection Control Panels using Draeger and/or third party supplied equipment.
- Manufacturing Gas Detection Sampling Systems using Draeger and/or third party supplied equipment.
- Pre-inspection checks of colleagues work and preparing Fire & Gas Detection Systems and equipment for inspection.
- Work in an effective and efficient manner to ensure production orders are completed on time and to a high quality.
- Actively promote continual improvements to drive the business forward. Taking part in 6S audits.
- Work safely and promote a safe place to work culture.

Education/Qualifications
- NVQ3, HNC or related experience listed below.
Related Experience
- Electrical fitting work, electrical installation work, instrumentation assembly and testing.
Skills, Special Competencies
- Marking out back plates, drilling, tapping, wiring, looming, glanding, understanding technical drawings, soldering, pipe bending, valve assemblies and compression fittings.
- Reading and interpreting instrument control system drawings, reading, interpreting and following risk assessments / SOPs, and reading / following test procedures.
