Stanley Mills Weavers is a specialist weaver of fine mohair fabric, producing luxurious pure wool, cashmere, and mohair worsted suiting. As part of the SIL Holdings group, we are proud to be one of the few remaining mills in the UK dedicated to this unique craft.
Job Description
We are currently looking for an experienced Mender to join our skilled team. You will be responsible for checking and repairing defects in woven fabrics to ensure only the highest quality cloth proceeds to the next stage of production.

Responsibilities
- Inspect woven fabrics for faults
- Mend or remove defects to meet quality standards
- Work collaboratively in a highly experienced mending department
Preferred Requirements
Essential:
- Experience mending worsted, mohair, woollen, or cashmere fabrics
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team
Further training will be provided for the right candidate
Working Hours
Full-time: 39.25 hours/week
