Are you passionate about creating a safe, nurturing and engaging environment where children can thrive beyond the school day?

We are seeking a caring, organised and enthusiastic Wrap Around Care Co-ordinator to lead the day-to-day running of our wraparound provision at John Rankin Infant and Nursery School. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting children aged 3–11 years through high-quality care, enrichment and play opportunities in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

You will lead the provision by planning and delivering engaging activities that support children’s social, emotional and developmental needs, while ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding, wellbeing and pastoral care. You will also coordinate the daily organisation of the provision, support and direct colleagues, and build strong relationships with children, families and school staff.

The Successful Candidate Will

  • Have experience working with school-aged children, including Nursery-aged children
  • Have a positive, caring and patient approach
  • Be able to lead engaging and age-appropriate activities
  • Demonstrate strong organisational and communication skills
  • Be confident managing behaviour positively and sensitively
  • Be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

A Level 3 qualification such as NVQ/CACHE Level 3 or equivalent is essential. A paediatric first aid qualification would be desirable.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
