Wrap Around Care Support Staff – Greenwich
Pay: £14.24–£15 per hour
Contract: Part Time, Long-term temporary
Working pattern: Part-time wraparound-care hours
Start date: 1 September 2026
Location: Greenwich, London
Salary will reflect experience and qualifications in line with the London Teachers Pay Scale.

Transparency Education is recruiting enthusiastic Wrap Around Care Support Staff for a school-based breakfast and/or after-school provision in Greenwich. Exact shifts will be confirmed during registration, but the position is expected to suit candidates looking for regular part-time hours around the main school day.
As Wrap Around Care Support Staff, you will supervise children, lead age-appropriate activities and help ensure that every child feels happy, included and well cared for.
Responsibilities
- Welcome children and families into the provision.
- Supervise indoor play, outdoor activities, crafts and games.
- Help prepare and serve simple snacks in line with school procedures.
- Encourage positive behaviour, cooperation and respectful relationships.
- Follow collection, attendance and handover procedures carefully.
- Support children with additional needs where required.
- Maintain a safe, organised and inviting environment.
- Report any concerns promptly through the school’s safeguarding procedures.

What we are looking for
Successful Wrap Around Care Support Staff will demonstrate:
- Experience working with children in a school, nursery, club, sports or childcare setting.
- A warm, responsible and energetic approach.
- Reliability and availability during agreed morning or afternoon sessions.
- Good communication with children, colleagues and parents or carers.
- An understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality and professional boundaries.
- Paediatric first aid or a childcare qualification is desirable but not essential.
