Job Description

The Role

Rathfern Primary School is a two-form entry school (including bulge class in Y6).

Rathfern Primary School is looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and energetic Wraparound Playworker to start ASAP.

We are an outstanding, highly successful school that places learning at its very heart.

Salary Information

  • Scale 2 £31,224 - £31,668 pro rata (38 weeks per year), approx. salary based on 0-5 years of service: £11,266 - £11,426
  • 15 hours per week Mon-Fri (3pm- 6pm or 2.45pm- 5.45pm)
  • Temporary contract until 21st July 2027 with possibility of being extended

Rathfern Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Our recruitment processes follow the guidance in the Department for Children, Schools and Families document Safeguarding Children and Safer Recruitment in Education. All staff will be required to undertake a disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service and you will need to provide two employer references. A satisfactory DBS must be received before employees can start work in our school.
