Role Description
This is an on-site, contract Writer role based in the Greater Oxford Area. The Writer will create clear, engaging content for school-facing and parent-facing platforms, including website copy, product descriptions, help guides, and educational resources. Day-to-day activities include drafting and revising content, collaborating with product and design teams to align messaging with user needs, and adapting tone and style to suit different audiences. The role also involves conducting light research on education topics, translating complex information into accessible language, and ensuring consistency across all written materials.

Qualifications

- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce concise, user-centered content for digital platforms.
- Experience developing clear, structured information (e.g., FAQs, help articles, guides) for non-technical audiences.
- Ability to research education-related topics and synthesize findings into accurate, engaging text.
- Familiarity with web content best practices, including readability, accessibility, and basic SEO principles.
- Excellent attention to detail, grammar, and style, with the ability to follow brand guidelines.
- Comfort working on-site in a collaborative environment and managing deadlines in a contract role.
- Background or strong interest in education, edtech, or working with schools and parents is highly beneficial.
- Relevant education or experience in writing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
