Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Writer/Editor to join a busy Internal Communications team, helping bring external stories, business updates and strategic initiatives to life for colleagues across the organisation. This role will transform news, campaigns, sustainability initiatives, innovation updates and thought leadership content into engaging internal communications that help employees understand what is being communicated externally, why it matters and how it connects to the organisation's purpose. • Edit and enhance content produced by other contributors, improving clarity, structure, tone, consistency and overall quality.
  • Support the production of intranet content, employee communications, campaign copy, leadership talking points and short-form internal content.
  • Collaborate with communications stakeholders to gather information, verify facts and understand audience requirements before drafting or editing content.
  • Apply editorial standards and tone-of-voice guidelines while simplifying complex topics for internal audiences and utilising AI tools responsibly to support content creation and editing.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
