Logistics done differently.
We’re currently recruiting for a Lead implementation and continuous improvement of WTS and associated technology solutions. This person will act as the key interface between business stakeholders, customers, and technical teams, ensuring that technology investments deliver measurable business value, operational efficiency, scalability, and competitive advantage. You will drive innovation, product roadmap definition, customer implementations, and successful adoption of technology solutions across the XPO DCS line of business.

Product Strategy
What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Clearly articulate the business value to the product team so they understand the intent behind the requested changes.
- Support the WTS product owner with defining and delivering the WTS Road Map
Innovation
Identifying new technologies, application enhancements / developments to improve processes, in line with overall business and XPO strategies.
Business Liaison
Understand business processes and provides technology guidance to ensure maximum return on investment (ROI). Ensuring that the needs of the business represented to the wider IT dept.

Product Features
- Prioritises features by ranking them against the strategic goals, initiatives and project requirements.
- Work closely product owners & engineering on the technical specifications and ensure that teams have all of the information they need to deliver a complete product to market.
Implementation
- Configuring systems for implementation, plan and carry out the data set up and then test or work with the tester to make sure they work correctly.
- Implement the new system on site; act as an IT coordinator on site giving guidance on system use to the new operators; monitoring the success of new processes and logging and prioritising any IT issues that arise
Data & Integration
- Define integration requirements between WTS and external systems with the C&C onboarding and Integration Team.
- Ensure data quality, integrity and governance across implementations.
Project Management
Where required act as hands-on project manager for IT changes and implementations.
Sales
Provide Support to the Business development team on new customer leads, providing guidance to enable RFQ to be submitted, providing demonstrations and technical discussions with potential customers.

What You Need To Succeed At XPO
- Experience in managing customer and business facing systems/applications
- Familiar with Transport/Logistics operations
- Experience and knowledge of system integration technologies, practices and procedures.
- Good understanding of I.T development Life cycle
- Good interpersonal skills, able to quickly build rapport
- Able to learn new systems quickly, & work under pressure
- Flexible approach to work, Patient and methodical
- Capable of working independently, managing priorities and time
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communicator with the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical colleague within the business respectfully and with assurance
